LA CUEVA

Visitors who tour the house, rather than comment on architectural issues, express human sensations to us: they are surprised, relaxed, moved... they are experiences that everyone understands. This is achieved by the respect that has been given to the conditions of the environment, making an architecture in harmony with nature.

MOUNTAIN HOUSE BENIDORM

The place is a privileged watchtower with unique views of the south. The main decision of the intervention is to maintain the construction and finishes in wood and replace the roof finish with zinc plates. A new layer of vertically arranged battens of Canadian maple wood is superimposed on the existing facade.

(A&G)

LA ENCINA HOUSE

The house is conceived as a large gazebo, open and transparent. It is organized into two levels: the upper, with public areas very permeable, like a floating pavilion on the landscape, and the lower, with the bedrooms, is embedded in the rock of the pace opening through porches and windows to the south.

(A&G)

SZOKE HOUSE

The aim of the project is to ensure that the house blends with the natural environment it settles in and to make the most out of the landscape around it. To meet the aim of the project, the house is fragmented into a sequence of small connected volume that settle in to the fairly steep land to achieve a small-scale object that blends with the ground.

(A&G)

TORREMOCHA

The project is defined as a home-studio for a photographer in the Madrid mountains. An environment conducive to calm dominated by vegetation and nature.

(Otto Medem)

HOUSE IN THE FOREST

The house adapts to the terrain, since it has a steep slope that descends towards the swamp. The house is located in the center of the plot and rests on some existing rocks. It has a cubic shape rotated 45º on the average slope, so that views of the swamp can be had from any point of the house.

LOBBY HOTEL MARIBEL

It was a real luxury to design the lobby and the main staircase for the Maribel Sierra Nevada Hotel, such an emblematic hotel with the history of Sierra Nevada behind it. The result has been magical. The premise for the design of this space has been to feel at home after a good day of skiing.

(Otto Medem)

SAN JUAN SWAMP

The key element around which the project is developed is a hundred-year-old holm oak existing on the plot. The necessary spaces for housing are organized around it and a patio where the axes of the plant converge in the form of a Latin cross..

(Otto Medem)

LA FLORIDA

The main concept of this project was to protect the house to the noise from the highway close to the lot. The constant noise it was very uncomfortable in spite of the location: a quiet place with lots of vegetation. The orientation was a basic factor from the first design. With all these ideas and another aesthetic and functional components, it emerged the idea: THE PROTECTIVE ARM.
